Alex Fox is an engineer, entrepreneur, and angel investor committed to building inclusive tech and teams. She invests in early-stage startups, with particular support for BIPOC founders and women of color.
Alex built and led product and engineering teams at Warby Parker and TONL, before joining Compound Labs to help build the future of finance. She serves as advisor to The Digital Sisterhood, a digital media company whose debut podcast reached #1 on Apple and Spotify.
Her first company, origin-of, designed and sold conscious clothing, partnering with organizations like NPR’s Youth Radio and photo app VSCO to give back to local communities in the Bay Area.
She writes essays and fiction as Ala Fox, and is passionate about racial equity and Oakland.
