Jazz Concerts in Parc Floral and Chateau de Vincennes
Yesterday spent a quite lovely and artsy day at Parc Floral de Paris in Vincennes. It's the month of the annual Paris Jazz Festival, so there was intermittent performances throughout the day. The one I went for, Sylvian Rifflet, was amazing. It was the perfect symphony for an afternoon spent sketching and brainstorming for Third Kind. The sun came out to play, and the whole environment was generally perfect.
It's a 3 Euro entrance fee for anyone under 26, which I felt was pretty reasonable at the end of the day, given the upkeep of the park. There really is a lot to see, a lot of different gardens and greenhouses to get lost in. I talked a lot with Am- (who I am about to go meet....!) and generally, I couldn't complain :)
Happy Sunday folks -
